BOOK FAIR September 13-17 You
are invited to our Scholastic Book Fair, an exciting, fun-filled event for students and families, scheduled from September
13 to September 17. Please stop by anytime Monday –Thursday, 9:20 – 3:30 and Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm on the
stage to see what we’ve cooked up! Be sure to bring your camera on family night, September 13 and 14th, 6:00
– 9:00pm, to take a picture with our Heros!
A Book Fair connects
students with books at affordable prices and makes reading a positive experience. You can help build classroom libraries by
purchasing a gift certificate or book from your teacher’s Classroom Wish List. You can also help us put more books in
the hands of children with One for Books. For more information about One for Books or the charities they donate to check our

school has ever seen.

 Domino's Dough Raising September 21 We have designated special days throughout the year for a our school to
"raise dough" through this program: When families turn in a special Dough Raising Day flyers on the designated days,
Domino's donates money to our school. The PTO distributes the flyers through the Thursday Folders, the families place
an order, fill out the form and turn it into the driver or to the cashier. Domino's also offers extra incentives
to encourage participation in the program -- such as a pizza party for the classroom that has the most flyers returned.
PTO General Meeting Thur Sep. 23 7pm During the 10-11 school year the PTO
has planned 5 General Membership Meetings. Our first meeting is Thursday September 23. These meetings start
at 7:00pm and usually last one hour and we offer free child care during the meeting. During these meetings the PTO discusses
upcoming events, fundraisers that the PTO is sponsoring, volunteer opportunities, PTO budget, news from the school and concerns
and questions from the parents. This is a time where we can all meet to discuss items and concerns that can make our children's
school a great place to learn. We look forward to seeing you there!
